Hey guys, check this out:
Legendary Entertainer Bill Cosby is releasing a Rap Alubm with the help of some Big Names in Hip Hop and R&B
Here's the story:
Bill Cosby Releases Hip-Hop Album: 'State Of Emergency'by Justin Mathews in Musictoob
Bill Cosby's taking it to the streets with his latest release, Bill Cosby Presents The Cosnerati: State Of Emergency. And no, it's not a joke.
The album features star-powered cameos from Alicia Keys, LL Cool J, and Eric Clapton, as well as a host of other members of the "Cosnerati" that just want to have some family fun. A free track from the album can be downloaded @ this link:
http://billcosby.com/site/store.html"I don't like referring to the music as clean," Cosby's quoted telling
Boombox. "What I like is 'what you're not going to do.' You're not going to curse. You're not going to put women down. You're not going to put the glory of the gun somewhere. And you're not going to put a whole lot of violence up front like that's the thing that will cleanse you and make you feel better."
So Cosby's "flipped the script" and gone hip-hop to try and fix the hood; will the at-risk youth he's targeting listen up? You can decide yourself by listening at BillCosby.com--he's made the whole thing available in full.
Somewhat less-than-household names (Jace The Great? Super Nova Slam?) and questionable tactics aside, this will undoubtedly prove useful when you're soundtracking vintage Jello Jigglers commercials for your Youtube channel.
Cosby's album officially drops today.
