We’ve got some new details regarding a storyline that’s already underway involving Hulk Hogan’s involvement with TNA Wrestling.
The original plan was for Hulk Hogan to lead the younger, homegrown stars of TNA against the “old guard” of established WWE & WCW castoffs, led by TNA president Dixie Carter. Hulk Hogan’s recent comments that he’ll be “in charge” of TNA are said to be part of the storyline (Hogan will have a great deal of power in TNA, but his comments are the start of this angle).
Dixie Carter was going to be a big player in the “Hulk Hogan joins TNA” angle, but there was a recent decision to cut back on Dixie’s role and have Mick Foley be the leader of TNA’s “old guard” movement. Dixie Carter will still be involved, but will not have the same role as originally planned.
Nash would be part of the "old gaurd", so what is going on with Nash and "getting the old band back togther?" - Quote :
- The Toronto Sun has an article up (TorontoSun.com) on Hulk Hogan in which he outright says "If I can't make it work, I'll pack my bags and leave."

| After reading this (albeit not really paying attention to what's going on), I'm thinking the whole, "Getting the old band back together", thing was probably just them trying to throw us off. | |

| Which can be good or bad for TNA; good because it's indeed a nice way to swerve fans into thinking that the NWO could reform in a different form. But it could be bad because NWO fans could (probably will) end up very disappointed if that doesn't happen and this just could incite them to turn away.
But basically, it's a rehash of the New Blood vs Millionaire's Club feud that WCW did with Vince Russo as the head of the New Blood. How original.
On these words, my sarcasm-o-meter just broke again. | |
