It's being reported that one of the reasons that Chris Jericho's return to WWE has been put off on at least one occasion is because Jericho wasn't happy with what the WWE creative team had planned for his comeback. Jericho has said many times in recent media interviews that he wanted everything to be just right, just perfect before he made his comeback.

| Someone disagrees with the creative team that is something different lol. They really need to get a better team those guys are seeming to suck badly lately. | |

| This is why they should give some superstars the chance to have more input on their storylines. | |

Sure, but if you give too many people a say in things, you've got 20 superstars trying to push themselves to carry the heavyweight title, when clearly only two (three?) can have them. At the same time, when you have to drop perfectly talented wrestlers because you "simply don't have anything for them," you should know your creative team isn't too terribly creative. I think WWE needs to cut down their roster a little, and revert to the style of shows they carried out before the brand expansion. It's GREAT to have 3 shows a week to work with, but when you can only keep certain superstars on one show, you're essentially running three different promotions with the same feel, which is incredibly boring. Returning to the format with just one roster, while cutting down the amount of airtime some guys get... it will greatly improve the airtime of the guys who are still getting it.

That is a good point, a lot of people are pretty selfish, but I guess you just have to screen who you give the opportunity to better. I mean guys like Austin and Hogan pretty much decide what happens to them and they havn't really abused their powers too much (though Hogan doesn't like putting others over much...). I guess to do a less extreme version of my suggestion, maybe let Jericho make a storyline pitch and ultimately have WWE make the choice of whether or not to use it.

That works in theory, but if they give it to too many people, it'll start to cause unrest in the locker room. I think what they really need is a better "creative team," and if wrestlers happen to be the answer to that, then that's fine.
