All-Time: Weakest Wrestlemania Main Event Match

Well, we are soon to be on The Road To Wrestlemania so I thought this topic had some relevance.

Wrestlemania is known for it's great Main event matches. Wheather it is HHH Vs HBK Vs Chris Benoit at WM XX, Or WWF Champion HHH Vs Mick Foley Vs The Rock Vs The Big Show at WM 16 or Angle Vs Lesner at WM XIX. there is usually great main event contests on the card. But occasionally you get the one which just sucks. So, Which one stands out for you as the weakest Main Event.

I have got to go with Wrestlemania 11 which had Bam Bam Bigelow taking on Lawrence Taylor.

First of all I dont get why it was a Main Event contest. Lawrence Taylor was a Celebrity Personality who played NFL for the Giants. I personally do not mind Celebrities in Wrestling but they don't belong in a Main Event at Wrestlemania. Undercard match quality at best this match should have been, Sure they are two Big Guys but who cares. Two Oversized guys doesn't mean its going to be a good contest and it definitely was not. The match actually went for a little over 10 Minutes while two other matches went for longer on the night. The Main Event is usually 30-60 minutes in duration at Wrestlemania.

The next thing that bothers me was the WWF Championship Match. That should of easily been the Main Event instead of this rubbish. It was HBK ( w/ Jenna McCarthy and Sid) Vs Diesel ( w/ Pamela Anderson). The Match was two former best friends taking on each other so that was easily the best choice for the Main Event of the night.

I thought the first wrestlemainia main event was really weak. I know it's historic and shit but still it bores the living shit out of me. Mr. T can't wrestle to save his life. I wish they would have booked a better match like Hogan vs Paul Orndorff or Hogan vs Bob Orton.

Taker vs. Sid Vicous was terrible, at WM 13. Sid totally sucked and I have no idea why he was challenging Taker for the WWE Championship. Also, HBK does commentary on that match and even that sucked.
