- The dark match before the SmackDown tapings saw Chris Masters defeat Dos Caras with the Masterlock.

- The dark main event after the tapings saw Big Show, Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger go to a DQ after Luke Gallows and the masked Straight Edge Society member attacked Mysterio.

- There was chaos at the WWE TV tapings in Dallas as there was literally less than one minute between the end of the SmackDown tapings and the start of the NXT season finale. The WWE crew was able to change over the ring aprons in just a few seconds. NXT opened with a pre-recorded segment but went right to the ring.
