- Here is the latest on the "WWE NXT" series. Right now, the series concept is said to be a "reality" based series featuring new talents who viewers will be able to follow both in and out of the ring. The hope is that fans can get to know the talents from day one, get insight into their goals and personalities, so that the fans can create a connection to them.
In a way the concept will be like a combination of WWE Tough Enough and the UFC's Ultimate Fighter, with the talents feuding with each other to become the next big WWE star. WWE has been working on the concept since November, and as of now, this seems to be the main theme behind the show.
Well that's shit. I assume it will be more BS then wrestling then. Fark

| It does sound like a shitty idea, but I will have to see how it plays out before I judge the product. | |

| Oh dear god. ECW had become my favorite hour of WWE programming. I don't know how I'll be able to live without the Abraham Washington Show. How on earth are they going to tie in "reality segments" with taped matches? | |

| Figures, something I was extremely excited for is ruined with a horrible idea. Maybe it won't turn out all too bad but the anticaption of NXT has died a lot for me upon reading this. Even if the reality segments suck, I think the matches will still be quality and I can just skip the segments on DVR, so it doesn't bother me all too much. Is a major buzzkill though. | |

| Could be good. Have to remember that the Tough Enough concept worked. Cause it gave us guys like Miz and Morrison. Don't think it's a bad idea at all. Will be something different but I do think it could really help alot of young guys to be honest. Not saying it's the best idea they've ever had but by the sounds of it, I'd watch. | |

| Yep, Tough Enough also gave us Chris Nowinski (Which had potential) and Daniel Puder.
Wait, Forget Puder xP | |

| Yeah, Puder was forgettable. Nowinski, I always liked. Maven had his share of success after he won Tough Enough as well really. | |

| Yeah, I left out Maven because then that would make your point pretty Valid xP
Maven had really good success actually, His mini Feud with Taker and his heel run in 05 were pretty solid.
Nowinski was different and worked ... Until he introduced that mask. It failed.

| Haha, well, he did just have surgery on his nose. So I guess he decided to work that in however possible. Either way, it's a bummer that his career was cut short. Had alot of potential. | |

| I hated Maven big time, until his heel turn. I felt like they finally gave him something that could work and it did work for a while, but then he faded away. I knew he was done for when they had him team with Simon Dean.
TE also brought Melina and TNA's Matt Morgan. Morgan was in the first season, but had to leave the show, due to a knee injury. We had to sit through a lot of crap before TE started paying off though.
