The Latest Backstage News On Tomko: Is He Already Gone?

Recently signed WWE star Tyson Tomko is currently dealing with a torn pectoral muscle. There are some within WWE who believe he actually worked his dark match at RAW with the injury, trying to keep it quiet.

While Tomko got a good reaction from the crowd, and there was even a chant for his name, one person who wasn’t a fan of his work was said to be Vince McMahon. According to several sources, Vince was unhappy with his dark match which is leading a number of people within the company to believe that Tomko’s return may be a short one.

McMahon was unhappy with Tomko’s appearance, noting that he looked heavier, which would make sense considering he couldn’t really work out with a pectoral tear. He was seen wearing his arm in a sling the day after his RAW dark match. There are rumors that Tomko has already been released, but we can’t confirm those yet. However, more releases from the company are expected shortly as a way to cut spending.

If tomko is actually released though im going to be So pissed, I have been pumped to see him hand it to all the mid card bitches in WWE

Yeah, but what might not be being said is that maybe Vince is second guessing Tomko because Cage may not be coming back. Tomko is already signed. Vince wont waste money and I have a hard time believing that Vince pays this much attention to the signings and didn't see Tomko until that match. Being as actively apart of all the decision making that is happening and not noticing that Tomko was out of shape / plump even seems to be a oxymoron.

I don't know. Your point is valid as far as the Christian Cage scenario goes. But let's say that Vince signed Tomko back because he would've paired him with Christian Cage. In that situation, if it's true, what is truly worth Tomko if your only intent was to package Tomko with Christian once he returned? Does this mean that Tomko would've been any Joe Schmo generic midcarder on the roster without Christian?

If it's the case, I believe that this might a miscalculated move on Vince's part. Tomko had a fantastic run with AJ Styles (against Christian nonetheless) and I think that if given a real shot, he could really impose himself as a breath of fresh air in whatever show he'll be featured. However, I'm not too worried about Tomko if he's released. He'll probably go back to New Japan to work with Giant Bernard, possibly forming some sort of trio with Rick Fuller.

Hmm! That was interesting. I'm not too much a fan of Tomko and I think that his biggest acclaim to fame was his lime light in the Him, cage and Christian fued.
