John Morrison revealed on his Twitter account that he broke his ankle in three places at last night's SmackDown television taping in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Nonetheless, he still plans on making WWE's international tour beginning this Thursday.

"My ankle is broken in three places, but I'm just going to walk it off," Morrison wrote. "Ankle still hurts from Smackdown taping in Baton Rouge."

Morrison's match against R-Truth last night was stopped following said injury.

I hope he's gonna be able to make it for Elimination Chamber. Even though it's almost sure that Chris Jericho wins the title to build his match with Edge at Wrestlemania, it would suck to see John Morrison being screwed of such an opportunity because of an injury.

Ahh this sucks. I'm guessing he's going to be out for a while with this, and I have a feeling they're gonna take him out the EC too. It's highly likely that they'll let him be in a match like that with a pretty serious injury.

WWE star John Morrison's alleged broken ankle is work. Morrison appeared to suffer an ankle injury at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings during a match with R-Truth. He later posted on Twitter that the ankle was broken in three places but that he'd just try to "walk it off." Morrison traveled to South America this week for the Smackdown & ECW live event tour will not miss any ring time.

Glad to hear he's OK. Main eventing Smackdown's Elimination Chamber will do wonders for his status in WWE after Wrestlemania, regardless of how he performs during the match.
