The reason Low Ki was removed from this "season" of NXT is because the WWE plans on doing 16-week seasons and are looking to save some talent for the future. The current plan is for 1 person to be a breakout star on each season with the other wrestlers eventually filling out minor roles on air, much like the Tough Enough and Diva Contest losers in the past.
Low Ki, Kaval in Florida Championship Wrestling, is slated to be the "breakout star" of Season 2 and will be in a position similar to that of Daniel Bryan currently. | |

This is good for the simple reason being that Ki won't be in Danielson's shadow and won't have to be competing with him. This way they can both get over as winners of the show and both be viewed as the best (cause they actually are) of their seasons. | |

| WWE making a smart tactic here if you put both of them on season one, One of them would have been overlooked but with them both being the face of each season then it is a very clever decision booking wise. These two are easily the future of the WWE. | |
