JR meets with Dixie Carter

Sources are indicating that Jim Ross has had a meeting with TNA management regarding the possibility of signing with TNA. Details are sketchy right now but Ross reportedly met with TNA President Dixie Carter and Dean Broadhead, the CFO of TNA to discuss a possible deal.

As reports have suggested over the last few weeks TNA have a keen interest to bring Ross in to "shake up" their announce team and are willing to pay big bucks in order to sign him to a deal.

JR's contract with WWE expires on April 30th and his WWE future has been in question especially since WWE do not want to use him as an announcer any more.

Damn it. I few weeks back, I said I would eat a cowboy hat with some of JR's BBQ sauce on it, if he went to TNA. If this report is true, I will need to order some BBQ sauce.

JR is the greatest wrestling annoucer of all-time and it will be huge loss for WWE and a huge gain for TNA. On one hand, I can't blame JR because WWE has screwed him over so many times at this point. He's fired, he's back, he's fired, he's back. I can't blame him for being pissed about the way he has been treated in the last few months. JR should have been calling Mania this year, period. And he should have been calling Taker vs. HBK, period. I hope this is not true, but, we will have to wait and see. One thing is for certian, I will be far more enterested in TNA with JR. I will not chose TNA over WWE, but I will make it a point to watch them both.

How knows if this is actaully true. I don't know that JR would legally be able to meet with TNA right now, since he is still under contract with WWE and I don't think JR would show that kind of disrespect to the WWE. If JR did meet with TNA, while under contract with WWE, he opened himself up to a law suite he would most likely lose. Unless his contract is not the same as the wrestlers contracts, with the no compete clause and stuff like that.
