UFC light heavyweight champion, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua has recently undergone knee surgery on an injury he picked up at UFC 113 against Lyoto Machida, which will cause the champion to postpone a fight with number one contender, Rashad Evans.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Dana White said:
“He had the surgery in L.A. He’s gonna do all his therapy in Vegas. So he’s gonna be in Vegas for the next five weeks. He needed (surgery) after the fight. He got hurt in the fight.”
