UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will be out of action for the rest of this year according to UFC President, Dana White.
Dana said it was unclear when Shogun would be returning to the octagon to defend his Light Heavyweight championship.
Shogun won the Light Heavyweight championship back in May when he knocked out former champion Lyoto Machida at UFC 113.When Rua returns he will be defending his championship against the former Light Heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans.

| Aww...I was hoping the injury wouldn't be that bad and he''d be back by the end of the year. Hope he doesn't come back and look as bad as he did against Coleman. | |
