Just wanted to re-post the card because I'm going to want this format for when I post the video of the PPV later.

Middleweight bout: Demian Maia vs. Mario Miranda
Lightweight bout: Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard
Welterweight bout: Nate Diaz vs. Marcus Davis

Preliminary card (Spike TV)
Lightweight bout: Joe Lauzon vs. Gabe Ruediger
Lightweight bout: Andre Winner vs. Nik Lentz

Preliminary card
Middleweight bout: Dan Miller vs. John Salter
Welterweight bout: Nick Osipczak vs. Greg Soto
Welterweight bout: Mike Pierce vs. Amilcar Alves


Quickly running through the prelim card, I see Miller, Osipczak, and Pierce picking up victories. On the Spike card, I've got Lauzon and Winner. None of the fights really seem that special to me, so I won't really bother giving much thought to them.

On the main card, I see Diaz beating Davis. As with a lot of Diaz fights, he'll keep his long arm out there pawing at his opponent to keep them away from him until Davis is forced to take it to the ground, where Diaz will probably sub him.

KenFlo/Maynard screams #1 contender and while it'd be nice to see a new face in the title hunt in Maynard, I think KenFlo is the next best LW to BJ Penn (yes, I feel he's better than the current champ). If KenFlo pulls off the victory and Edgar does too in the main event, I think Kenny will finally get his title.

Maia/Miranda should be the perfect match-up for Maia. Miranda is a wrestler and loves taking fights to the ground. And Maia is a fuckin beast on the ground regardless of whether he's on top or not. I see Miranda with the takedown, Maia with the sub win.

Couture/Toney, a battle of the old guys. No secret how each fighter expects to win. Toney via KO or Couture via buttfuck. I've got Couture obviously.

Edgar/Penn is a rematch I wasn't a fan of. I didn't think the last fight was that controversial and Penn should have to pick up a win before getting his rematch. In any event, I think Edgar will use the same strategy again. Pick his spots, in and out, pick up the decision. Penn will probably be a little more aggresive this time, so we should get to see where his gas tank is at this time around. I don't think Frankie will be taking BJ down like last time (I believe he had 2 or 3?) because Penn's TDD is beastly (unless you're fighting GSP...then it doesn't matter). That and Penn has an iron chin, so I don't see any KOs going Frankie's way, so I'm hoping for another decision win.

I am pretty sure Randy is going to have sex with Toney. What he will do however, is give him a beating he can take back to boxing.

Yeah, that would make it a totally different kind of PPV. Sometimes I have a problem with words, see, I did mean he will not have sex with him.

^^It would make it a PPV I would not be inclined to pay for. Not that I'm going to pay for UFC 118 as it is, but you know...I wouldn't even stream the other kind of PPV.

Yeah you did, I don't recall Randy ever using one and I doubt Toney what the hell that even means.
