| Apparently sometime during the New York House Show Amazing Red beat Jay Lethal for the X-Division Championship. If you look at the TNA Roster Page Amazing Red is listed as the current champion. No conformation on if this is a quick swap or if Red will have a legit run.

| I was about to post that news but you beat me to it.
I think he might have a legit run with it. I'm expecting a rematch at Bound For Glory.

| I don't know, they were pushing Lethal pretty damn hard. I am kind of shocked he lost to someone with so little TV Time right now.
Then again both Amazing Red and Jay Lethal are huge draws in the area, both being trained in New Jersey and spending so much time in JAPW.

| Yeah, that makes sense from that point of view but if they were to please every local worker when performing live events, we would see title changes on a weekly basis. | |

| Keep in mind New York has produced the two largest TNA Crowds ever. | |

| Not surprising. New York's pretty much the hotbed for wrestling in the Northeast, all promotions included. | |

| And Jay Lethal won it back in his home state of New Jersey.
Me thinks it was done on purpose.

| Possibly since there isn't any report of a botched call by the referee or anything.
WCW did it a lot too during the Booker T/Chris Benoit rivalry over the WCW World Television Championship. The belt changed hands like 4 different times during house shows.
