John Cena Heel Turn Being Seriously Discussed By WWE Officials

The possibility of turning John Cena has been discussed much more seriously than in the past, according to the Pro Wrestling Torch.

Vince McMahon made it clear when the idea was previously broached that it would not even be considered due to the tremendous amount of revenue Cena draws via merchandise. While there doesn't appear to be any firm plan in place, McMahon has since changed his tune on the subject as he is now open to listening to suggestions.

Meanwhile, this week's issue of Figure Four Weekly adds that there is 'strong talk' of a turning Cena heel come WrestleMania season.

I'm calling it now, The Undertaker vs John Cena at 'Mania with Cena as an all-out heel - who will lose.

I am sure the Streak will never end, no matter who Taker wrestles. You are too late on that call though, whatever you are calling yourself today. Y2JX made this prediction a few weeks ago.

I think this would be a refreshing change for Cena. I know he is super over as a face and that is the best time to do it. He already has built it heel bitchin promo material, since he still gets booed by 30-40% of the fans. I hope this happens, but I hope it doesn't happen by him joining The Nexus.

I don't think it's gonna happen via the Nexus. If it had to happen that way, it would've happened around Summerslam when they had that 7-on-7 tag match.

Should that heel turn happen, it's gonna be interesting to see how will this develop and how the dynamics with the other faces on the roster will be. You have lots of good possibilities to explore with a heel John Cena and it can only be refreshing.
