They're different shows, and I don't think either one is better or worse. I love them both. Family guy is more about really quick puns back to back, where South Park goes all out to make fun of usually one issue or person per episode. I like both for different reasons, but I really don't think an argument of which is "better" is really anything worth fighting over. Obviously most people will have a preference, but come on... they're different.

I love Family Guy and South Park. They are both awesome!

Family Guy = overrated. Not saying it sucks, but it really isn't as good as everyone thinks it is. Much like the South Park episode says, it's pretty much just randomly choosing words and using them for flashbacks.

I like Family Guy. It's a great show. Although I quickly lose interst of the repeats. Honestly I can't get into South Park. I've tried a couple of episodes and I just get offened. They only one I liked was the World of Warcraft one. I gues since the first one I tried and watched they said sh!t like tweleve times before I changed the channel. So I don't like it because it offened me. However I'm not doubting the shows sucess as it's well earned. Shows like South Park and movies like Borat offend me so I get turned away. .

WOW you must be offened easy. None of what they say is true and if you let that get to you then I just dont know what to say.

That is what I love random. When I am watching T.V. I do not want to have to remember a storyline. With Family Guy you do not have to remember how the show started to laugh because randomly Peter will be in Mexico dating Gary Coleman. Also you can come in half way through the show and still laugh at the jokes.

No I don'tet offened easy. Just because I mind hearing the word sh!t twelve times in a row doesn't mean I get offened easily. It just means when I first tried watching the show I heard the sh!t word uttered reapetivly. Not censered of course. That turned me off the show forever. Ionly saw the World of Warcraft episode. But other than that I never watched it again. Honestly I don't find entertainment in a show that just goes sh!t for the whole episode. I'm assuming it went throught the whole episode.

very good point sol in south park you really need to know what the storyline is to find it ammusing
