Ron Killings On His Way To WWE,Details On His Ring Name,Brand,more

Ron Killings is on his way to WWE. According to a report by Dave Meltzer in the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Killings has not finalized his contract with the company because he has to pass a physical and required drug test. However, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Killings will work in WWE under the name KWIK Ron Killings.

The hiring of Killings was the work of John Laurinaitis. It was Laurinaitis that led the negotiations for the deal as the creative team was not in on it because of problems between RAW creative team writer Brian Gewirtz and Killings. Apparently there was an incident that occurred between the two during a pre-tape segment during Killings' first WWE stint. Gewirtz vocally expressed his displeasure with the company bringing Killings back.

Given Killings' problems with Gewirtz it is very likely that he will end up on SmackDown or ECW, not RAW.

If they plan to use the Kwik part again, why not just use the whole thing and not change anything and just be like he's been away training for his return or something. Don't understand why they would repackage a guy just to make him sound the same.

Ron Killings needs to stay away from Raw where Triple H and his buddies will bury him. ECW would be a good place to start as he'd get an instant push to the top and possibly a title reign. I can see him having some gret feud with Shelton Benjamin and CM Punk. I'd rather Killings just used his TNA name than add the KWIK to the start but I'm just gald to see him back.

I agree he needs to stay away from Raw because he won't get anywhere. ECW/Smackdown is the place for him.
