Brock Lesnar UFC debut tonight!

I will be posting live updates to his fight when it starts, so any discussion about the actual fight or the result can go in here.


Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir

Round 1:
Kurt Angle and The Undertaker were both shown on screen with name labels to the live and PPV audience as both fighters were in the cage before the introductions. Now they just showed "Stone Cold" Steve Austin with a beer in his hand. Crowd cheered big for Austin. Bruce Buffer announces, with great passion, "the former WWE superstar - Brock Lesnar!" Now Sable is shown on screen. And it's time for round one. Lesnar immediately takes Mir down and has half guard. Lesnar is throwing short punches with fury. Ref breaks the two - apparently Lesnar loses a point for hitting Mir in the back of the head. No warning before the point deduction. Restart on the feet and Lesnar drops Mir with a big punch to the face. Lesnar goes berzerk on the ground with punches. Mir slaps on an armbar, but Lesnar escapes. Lesnar stands up and Mir grabs a leg and locks in a leg lock - Lesnar taps out!

Well there goes his debut...

Lesnar got that ass stomped!!!! It wasn't even close, he never should of left the WWE.

He looked like a monster that got caught due to his inexperience. This isn't the end of Brock Lesnar. He's got all the skills, but he needed something like this to teach him not to be stupid. I predict next fight he won't have as much tunnel vision and he'll do very well.

It's unfortunate that the call to about the shots to the back of the head was really what may have cost him the match. I think Lesnar can still achieve in UFC though, but I guess not just yet. Once again, he has displayed his striking ability and that's something to really watch for during his next fight.

I think he can be a great fighter but when he got put in that ankle lock type move it was over I mean damn.

Also ESPN just reported that Home Run King Barry Bonds was in attendance...

Once a submission is locked in properly, there's almost no escape. Most he could've held out was like 2 seconds more.

There's enough evidence and reports of him doing it that I'm willing to side against him already. He's the home-run king and will be until ARod passes him, but that doesn't make me like him anymore or make me think he hasn't done steroids (if anything, it's why I hate him more). On a side note, grapefruits are tasty IMO, so thanks for those.

First off I don't like grapefruits, I do like limes though. Besides the point back to the fight. It was a bad fight for Lesnar and he needs to get his head right before he tries that again especially against a former champion.

Well he did land some hits and fuck up Mir a bit, so he can walk away with positives knowing that he can punch with the best of them.

Yeah and Nick Dinsmore can walk away knowing that he is one of the better grappling wrestlers in the business, but when it boils down to it Nick Dinsmore and Brock Lesnar are both looking pretty retarded right now.

Difference between the 2, Dinsmore will forever keep his gimmick if he is in the WWE and if he is elsewhere nobody will care. Meanwhile, Lesnar still has ample opportunities to make up for this fight and I believe that he will do so down the line.

Yes but Lesnar left a huge contract in the WWE to play football and be an MMA fighter, now he is looking like a fucktard.

Money isn't everything. Maybe he has ascended into Maslow's self-actualization level and is just looking to do what he likes.

Well he's probably earned enough from back in the day and now he doesn't need to do what he might not have liked and like I said, he has since moved up since he has fulfilled his previous needs.

Ahh there's where you are wrong. The Rock left to make money. Lesnar left in spite of money. He didn't sell out, he just moved on in life.

He is still a bust and his fight lasted 90 seconds.....

O there was another fight tonight (well technically last night) that lasted something like 33 seconds.

We can argue all night about Brock Lesnar dammit but we need to focus on Basketball.

Brock Lesnar has a three year contract. He has a multiple fight deal, meaning he has at least two more fights left on his contract. Also, in UFC you get bonuses for tons of silly things like "best match" or "hardest strike". On top of that you get a huge bonus if you win main event matches.

He might not be making millions of dollars anymore, but don't think he's going to be uncomfortable financially.

I think also this is not the end of his Ufc carrier coz he lost last night,it was an unlucky night,thats it with me,somehow i feel the guy enough skill to win against Mir,that was just a cheapshot,kind a, in my eyes,if he wants,he will eat him!!I belive!!!
