Bad News for Older WWE Fans?

Actually this is great. This will open doors for TNA who is more geared for the older demographic. I still want the violence and sexual nature of the 18-35 demographic.

As if I wasn't already tempted to stop watching WWE....now I get to be catered to like a child. Sounds fabulous.

I swear to God, I see Elmo or Cookie Monster on RAW and I am so out.

I heard Jeff was going to be the face of this project but then... we know the rest. Kind of don't care what they say they are marketing to. The women will still be hot and the show will still have violence. They might just be doing this so parents let their kids watch it more.

Jericho used the Cookie Monster as a visual aid a few months ago.

Its good that they a going after kids from a company stand poit, but this will suck! This will mean no more sexy divas or anything goes matches.... A match with no rules is the best!

I'm pretty sure that just because they want to target kids more, it doesn't mean they're taking away all of that.

Just think of all the toys Vince will be having made for the kids....His cash registers will sound like Organs playing for him....I have been suspecting this for some time when they started making more and more kids stuff shirts toys ...Easter Baskets....

If I was a parent 1st off I would make my kid watch WWE. But if I was an ass of a parent and Said NO WWE! No matter what the WWE did to "Clean up" and become more kid friendly I would still say NO WWE!

By kids I think they mean they are simply cutting down, that doesn't mean they need to end the divas, most kids today normal loves women in sexy dresses. It did say 6-14. As for the Elmo thing, perhaps Elmo could do a gimmick where he becomes Emo Elmo. He always bitches and mourns.

ill bet some superstars will ask for releases and go to tna, this is tna opening to get really good.

What wishful thinking. Superstars aren't going to ask for a release because their fans are getting younger. Unless you hate kids...which...how many people are going to admit it and leave a company for it...there's no new reason to leave.

Naw doubt anyone will ask to be released just because of there building something up for the kids...These guys get a part of that Marketing money when there stuff sells...All the toys etc...They will stick around and make the money. The parents have to spend to keep the kids happy.
All the WWE toys, kids shirts etc....The WWE stars won't be going anywhere...



As to using Elmo in anything and even the Cookie Monster thing Jericho used...Vince had to send the Sessame Street people a big check just to use it...Thats all been trademarked by Sessame Street ...I mean cookie monster, big bird, Elmo, all of it is owned by Sessame Street people

I think you are thinking this is going to be a complete makeover. I dont think it will be as drastic as you think it will be. I just think they will market to kids a little bit more, then the other people who watch. o and was that not funny Elmo vs Randy Orton in a match for the title. lol

ok, good, because if they start changing the shows to little pansy fights im done watching wwe. and yes it was pretty funny, as long as it never really happens...

If this stops the weapons and other things geared to an older demographic I'll cease to watch WWE. I'm allready sick of the Cena and Hornswoggle crap! WWE should return to its roots: the 18-35 demographic.
