I've been a fan since I was growing up!
I was born in 1980 and the 80's was a decade for Wrestling!

I was born in 1980 and the 80's was a decade for Wrestling! Got that right: I was only born in '92 so I missed all that. Which is why I'm thankful for Wikipedia, DVD's and books that fill me in.

| I thought Tony Schiavone and Mike Tenay were very good back in WCW. I know WWE aren't on great terms with Schiavone but he's a hell of a lot better than Michael Cole, Coach and Adamle. I'd even go as far to say I'd rather see him back than the partnership of JR and King. They have been together far too long, both seem uniterested, miscall things time and time again and both seem to coast by using tired catchphrases. Mike Tenay was great back in WCW but his constant over excitement and the way he rushes through plotlines kind of sucks. I still think he's decent though. | |

and if so, what did you think about Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay, Larry Zbyszko and Mark Madden? Well Schiavone is a horse's ass, when he and Bischoff pulled that stunt announcing the Raw results I lost all respect for Schiavone.

It was a smart tactic but it backfired on the night Foley won the belt on Raw. It was business and Schiavone was only doing what Bischoff told him to do.

| According to Scoops.....Its not a tragedy any way....Joey is moving up in the company and will take over as the man in charge of WWE.com...Mike Adamie is moving with the play by play on ECW because they need him to do more....Simply that Adamie is getting a lucrative salary and they needed to find a spot for him to do more....
You know the WWE is always trying new stuff if it don't work they will move them around again....Same as Cryme Tyme they let them go and now there back again....
Nothing is set in stone in the WWE so I wouldn't get to worried about a play by play commentator...

| I never cared for Cryme Tyme, especially since they disrespected my girl Lita for that matter @ Survivor Series 20 after she lost the title to Mickie James!

| Just read another part of it that says Joey Styles will still be working with ECW/Smackdown and will also work with Raw and will also be involved in the creative group with creation I would guess its a chance that some new blood into the shows in an effort to boost ratings....Joey has been with Wrestling long enough he will be a solid asset to the Creations....
Vince want s Adamie to do more then the lucrative salary he is paying him and that I could see as well...If the guy is making that kind of money he needs to due more then what he has been doing

| Hey guys, listen to this:
Bobby Heenan and Mike Tenay SLAMS Tony Schiavone
Check this out, you'll be surprised:
Heenan joined WCW because he was tired of the travelling in the WWF. He was tired of the days on the road and he was also producing the interview segments and was just burned out. When asked about Tony Schiavone, Heenan said he was "a pig." Schiavone "knew the end was coming but wouldn't tell anybody and wouldn't even talk to me." He says that Schiavone is not a good man, did not like wrestling and did not like wrestlers. He said that Schiavone thought he was a great baseball announcer, but Heenan said anybody can call a "fast ball at thirty miles an hour in the minor leagues."
Mike Tenay said that when he met Tony Schiavone he got along with him well the first few years of WCW. But, at the end of the company, he felt Tony didn't want to be there. He talks about Tony acting as though it was a hard job to do and not a fun job to do. James mentions the story in Heenan's book about Tony putting his head down in front of a live crowd and all Mike says is it is absolutely true and it happened more than once.
also, Bobby Heenan SLAMS Eric Bischoff and WCW:
Heenan thinks Vince only hired Eric Bischoff so that he could ruin him. He said that Bischoff once told Heenan and Gene Okerlund that he wanted to put a stake in Vince's heart again and again. Now Heenan thinks Vince is sharpening the knife on Bischoff.Heenan said that he "hated" Bischoff and that Bischoff was a "piece of trash." Even though Bischoff gave Heenan three contracts and two raises, he wouldn't speak to "The Brain." When Heenan joined Bischoff he asked Bischoff to go to the bar with him and have a few drinks because he said, "I have 30 years in the business and might be able to help out." Bischoff told him, "I'm not really a friendly guy and I don't like to get to know people." Unbelievable. Bobby said that Bischoff is a mark and that a wrestling company has never been killed by wrestlers, its been killed by wanna-bes. "If Bischoff was a woman, he'd be a (ring) rat."

| I was upset when I first read that Styles was being repalced, but he isn't being fired, he is moving up in the co. and that is great for him. Maybe he will do better job with WWE.com then Cole did. Adamle sucked last night, but is was only his first time. Coach however has no excuse to suck week after week. | |
