| WHY MYNETWORKTV WANTED WWE SMACKDOWN

The latest edition of Broadcasting & Cable reported that MyNetworkTV is up 50% in the 18-34 Male demographics from a year ago, attributed to the addition of WWE Smackdown to the network's Friday night primetime slot.
The article noted that MyNetwork claims they moved up six slots from last year among the network TV rankings, from 16 to 10th among all broadcast and cable networks.
Much like the USA Network and Sci Fi, MyNetworkTV wanted the WWE product because the ratings the brand brings helps strengthen the bottom line overall for the network. | |

| I Think SD might be going down hill since they lost some greats. EG: Rey and Batista. Also I dont think many agree with Jeff trying to get into the title picture. So I was surprised when I saw this. | |

| Not only that they don't have heavy competition. And their timing is good. Kids can stay up later on Fridays and parents are usually leaving the house to go party around 8. | |
