| Winners - Grizzles and Hornets, mainly hornets. Antonio Daniels for Mike James? The wizards coach is a big dumbass for that. | |

| If Mike James gets the minutes, which is still a bit of a question mark as of now (definitely won't be the case when Arenas gets back), he might put up decent numbers (though he won't help the team win). I've watched him first hand in Toronto when he got big minutes because we essentailly had nobody else, and this guy can light it up. Then he gets cocky and takes bad shots at the end of games and screws it up. He'll be a decent short-term solution if he gets minutes, that's really all the Wizards did with this trade IMO.
And I actually felt the Grizz didn't come out big winners. Crittenton had ok numbers for a young guy coming off the bench, so it's not like he was a blown pick. Then they gave up a second rounder, only to get a first rounder back. Seems a tad steep to me.

| True, the grizz did give up a pretty decent player for a little too little/ a risky situation. But they dont have much to lose anyway. Gotta take a few risks when you arent that great. I do think the grizzles have way too good a roster to not be so good. In a few years if they get a good pick out of this, after mayo and gay have fully developed there skills, they could be a great team. | |

| The only thing that troubles me with building around young players in a low budget system is that once those players develop and you still aren't willing to dish out to retain them, you essentially just have to trade those developed palyers for more draft picks and bank on making good picks again.
Which is actually why I'm pulling hard for Atlanta this year. They took their time and got some good core players like Smith, then when players started to develop, they brought in veterans and paid big money to retain their team. Hopefully the Grizz will follow suit.

| I'm pulling for Atlanta because they have imo the best roster in the whole leauge, with two of the best players Joe Cool(joe johnson) and J-Smoove.(josh smith), They have a very good coach who makes good decisions(picking up Mo Evans & Flip Murray was the best move anyone made this offseason). It's also a very likeable group of guys. | |
