Jericho’s WWE Return Date

While Chris Jericho has still not signed with WWE it is believed that he’ll be back with the company in October. However, nothing is set in stone and it will largely depend on how well his book sales do.

Why would Jericho's book sales have anything to do with his return to WWE? His book sales have nothing to do with his talent, I just doubt his book sales have much to do with if he returns to WWE. If your a fan of Chris Jericho I would not see why people would not buy it anyway, but I just think it more so depends on the fact that WWE will need to give Jericho the right price to return.

I think joining the WWE right as his book comes out, especially if he is allowed to plug it on tv in front of a national wrestling audience, would be the best marketing possible to garner interest and increase his book sales. Think of how many casual fans would become aware of his book who would never have even known about it otherwise.

Wrestling sites are now saying that respected wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has reported that Chris Jericho has indeed chosen WWE over TNA and is set to return to the WWE at No Mercy on Oct 7.

Meltzer's word carries a lot of clout, plus it fits in with the promo videos and everything else, so I expect it to happen.

If he does return it will be like a promo not a match but just glad to see him coming back.
