Trish Stratus rejected to show up @ Wrestlemania 25

according to a company source, Trish Stratus was in negotiations with WWE to take part in the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania this past Sunday, but only if she won the match. Once she was informed Santino Marella was going over, she rejected the offer.

No way this is fair enough.

When you look over the Diva's (Including Lita if she competed) Trish is better then the lot of them, Which rightfully so means she should win. This was to crown the 'Best Diva' which belongs to Trish without question. Maybe I am defending her because I am a Trish mark but she had every right to win if she entered the match.

Matches are used to develop storylines, and Trish winning it would do nothing for anyone since she'll be gone after her one off appearance.

Yeah, But this is mania. Most non main event story lines stop at mania and we face another season of WWE Entertainment. The Diva battle royal was to crown the 'Best Diva', Yet 'Santina' won it. This was rightfully Trish's position as the best. Santino marella thing was a joke, It wasn't even funny and it wrecked a good match on paper with him getting involved. This has only furthered a little feud between Beth and Santino which will last till Backlash at best.

Was a 25 diva over the top rope thingie really a good match on paper? That has to sound like one of the most unappealing to me. I would much prefer a singles competition with no title involved than that...

I can't blame Trish, look at the women's division. All the build up they did was a fucking waste for what is now a joke division. I wish to god they'd get rid of the diva's divisions and let them do something else. They're women really can't wrestle, and not only that but they're annoying as piss.

We need TRUE women's wrestlers like Daizee Haze and Mickie Knuckles....not fucking Kelly Kelly and other bimbos who only know how to put dicks in there mouths.

And yes Alexis Laree knows how, I've seen her do it on a movie.

How is Brooke Adams any different to Joy Giovanni? They are both good looking women who have about the same poor level of ability in the ring. I’ll never understand why you have beef against Kelly Kelly, someone who is admittedly not the best female worker, but has improved considerably since her debut. Instead, you like Brooke Adams, someone who is far worse than Kelly these days.

As for the invites, WWE probably did invite Brooke and Stacy and they just said no. And who cares? Stacey Keibler has always been absolute crap in the ring. She was around because she had a pretty face and long legs, ditto most of the ‘divas’ in WWE. She couldn’t strike to save her life. Brooke Adams was better, but really not by much. Joy sucks as a worker also. None of them could do anything worthwhile. Brooke just danced and looked hot. I can type Jessica Alba into google and see somebody hotter. At least chicks like Candice and Kelly have tried to improve whereas Stacey, Torrie Wilson etc were quite happy to be two of the worst in-ring talents employed by WWE.

As for the Stacey killing Kelly thing: too far. It’s just weird to hate somebody like that, especially someone you don’t even know. If you were joking then sorry, still not cool.

And Trish has a right to demand the win. Her and Lita are the pioneers of the women's divisions resurgance to something worth watching. Santino winning was a joke; he isn't funny, he isn't talented and he didn't deserve to win at 'Mania. It was an insult to the rest of the chicks, although half of them are awful anyway. I think Trish did the right thing by walking away, she doesn't need WWE and if they are going to pull stupid shit then she has full right to say forget it.

Well MF, I'm not a Candice or Kelly fan, but Stacy said herself that she doesn't like being in the ring, but she would rather be a valet, but hey, give her credit for saying that she doesn't like being in the ring.

I also think that Vince McMahon needs to stop putting inexperienced women in the ring and let them be valets.

I do agree with this, although the fact that I like Brooke over Kelly Kelly is ultimately different. Although I never said Brooke is much different than Joy Giovanni, it's just that I didn't like her as much, she never really had a match. As for Brooke, in the three battle royals she was in, I thought she was the most improved in Extreme Expose-maybe next to K squared ; somebody like Trish, Lita and maybe even Chyna deserved to win. Yes, the Santino thing was a big joke and didn't deserve to happen at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania. In my opinion, Royal Rumble was the best PPV in the 08-09 series. Anyway, if they declined over that, I think if WWE gave Trish the win, second or even the top five, she would've stayed, maybe even being bested by Mickie James, Melina, Katie Lea or Natalya, who I think should've won.

I actually thought the only reason "Santina" (I hate WWE sometimes) won was because Trish rejected. I can't believe WWE actually expected her to come back and lose to a guy in drag at Wresltemania. The worst part of Wrestlemania XV in my opinion was seeing how WWE really values the WWECW Championship (If they didn't have faith in Swagger, they could of have him lose it someone like Christian or Finlay, gives R-Truth back his spot in MITB, and throw someone else in at Mania), The Tag Division (Taking off the live card for ten minutes of Kid Rock), and the Womens Division.
