- BREAKING UPDATE: Jeff Jarrett, B.G. Jame, Jim Cornette on Their Way Out?

Following the firings of TNA creative member Dutch Mantel and agent Savio Vega on Friday, there are loud rumblings that other moves are in the works. At this point, almost everyone who is considered an ally of Jeff Jarrett is on edge. More specifically, B.G. James, Jim Cornette and referee Slick Johnson are all on the bubble, but no official moves have been made. Backstage sources also expect a broadcasting shakeup at some point as well.
The firings of Mantel and Vega, and the uncertainty of his other allies’ futures, have sources within TNA feeling that Jeff Jarrett is on his way out. If Jarrett does remain with the company, they feel he wont have as much power as before when he returns.
Taz and Pat Kenny have both been mentioned as possibilities to fill the agent role left open by Savio Vega’s release. Taz and Terry Taylor handled the duties at the most recent Impact tapings.

| This piece of news clearly demonstrates to me what kind of role Taz will play within the company from now on. He's been officially with TNA for only 2 weeks now and he's already handling road agent stuff.
With that said, I don't understand why they would fire someone like Jim Cornette. I think he's gonna be a great help for the company's booking, especially now that it's obvious that they won't seek Paul Heyman's services. But, unfortunately, unless Cornette gets carte blanche on the booking, I don't think it's gonna happen.

| Jeff Jarret-From the details...I think it should be done.
Jim Cornette-Haven't seen him on TV for months...so meh.
BJ James-Nothing of value would be lost.

| How big is Jarretts piece of ownership? Is it going to be as easy as just "buying him out". - Quote :

» There are many people within TNA who are still insisting that the entire situation involving Jeff Jarrett, Karen Angle and Kurt Angle is real. Most in the company are still siding with Kurt Angle adding that he tends to be more interactive with the talent roster complimenting them on working hard and watching everyone's matches, while Jeff Jarrett is know for hanging with his "crew of boys" and doing his own thing at events.

| I guess that depends how much pull Kurt Angle actually has on the TNA locker room. If he's able to gather everybody around him and take a stand against Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter won't have any choice but to buy him out.
I think Kurt Angle knows exactly what he's doing here. I'm not saying that he's scheming behind Jarrett's back to take over the company ala Dr. Evil or something but I believe that Angle has TNA's best interest at heart and that's why he's trying to lead by example.
