- Below are some of the highlights from the very candid and revealing interview with Ken Anderson from the Pro Wrestling Report on 540 ESPN Radio. The 90 minute interview can be found in it's entirety at PWRshow.com.
His Final Days In WWE: "To be quite honest with you, I really don't quite understand all the stuff that led up to it. It was a bunch of different things. I had some detractors in WWE obviously. I made some mistakes along the way and I will take full responsibility for those mistakes. The line I was given was that they were not happy with the things that happened that Monday Night and they decided not to go with the Ken Kennedy Character anymore."
The Backstage WWE Atmosphere: "Your never told anything. It kinda sucked being the talent being in the dark all the time. When certain guys get injured they make a big deal about their return. When I came back I had a match with Scotty Too Hotty, not much of a splash. There are two mountains in the WWE, the mountain that the Undertaker stands on and the mountain the other guy stands on...and it's not just HHH...You can't compete with Sunday Brunch. You hear all the horror stories about how WCW died...that's the way it is now in WWE. Sometimes shows continue to be written after the show has started"
WWE's View of TNA: "I don't think that WWE views TNA as a threat at this point. I do think that TNA is very close to breaking through that glass ceiling. There is always room for change. They are about one or two stars away from being a major competitor."
Whether He Will Go To TNA "I have absolutely no idea at this point...there's been some talks...it's just pleasantries at this point. Yes, I would go to TNA...TNA gives guys opportunities...I want an opportunity to show that I can entertain. I want an opportunity to work in that environment"

I think that it was a huge mistake to let go of Kennedy. Out of all of the guys the WWE has cut lose, he is the one I think is a huge mistake. I think that he will be back in the WWE before all is said and done. I think he goes to TNA, makes a huge impact, and then the WWE buys him back.

| ^If he comes back to WWE, I just hope they keep him on Smackdown. While he'll be able to spark some interest to watch Raw (which he would me for) it seems that Smackdown is the place to be for rising talents, and I don't think that will change within the next few years, I see HHH, Orton, and Cena staying on Raw for awhile. Where ever he goes I just want it to be somewhere were I could follow his career, by actually watching it, if he goes to TNA, I know I'll start watching TNA reguralry. | |

I agree with all of that. Moving to Raw the first time killd his momentum. Failing a drug test and getting suspended didn't help either. He was set up for main event storyline with that "bastard child" thing and the suspension killed that.

| All came to a bad time for him. After everything that happened surrounding Chris Benoit's murder/suicide, WWE had to look good if anything about the Wellness Policy popped up and unfortunately, some guys paid the price more than others. Kennedy was one of them.
With that said, my take on this is that I'd be shocked if he would return to WWE after those comments. The description of his last night on match, everything with Randy Orton, it's almost like Orton was waiting for the perfect opportunity to throw him under the bus. I might sound like a conspiracy theory geek on that one but Orton always had that bad reputation and I guess that being the current golden boy on RAW, he feels like he can get away that Triple H-esque behavior.

| WWE will let by gones be by gones if he becomes a huge star in TNA. Vince will put what he thinks is good for business first. He has done it before. | |

| ^The difference is, Christian left on better terms then Anderson, choosing to leave once his contract expired. Also, Christian still fufilled his obligations to the company (despite not having a contract), by appearing on Taboo Tuesday (have that PPV on DVD, don't know why I feel the need to post that) because he could of been voted in (when he didn't need to because he didn't have a contract). Meaning, he left on much better terms then Anderson. I read that Anderson was added to the "do not call" list which very people are on, I'm hoping thats not true.
I think Randy Savage and Chris Benoit is a better example of Vince doing what is best for buisness first (even though CJ mentioned the TNA top star, the general point was overall, Vince will do what he feels is better for buisness, thus I wouldn't call Reso the best example). Putting aside his problems with the Macho Man and make his DVD and putting Benoit in the WWE encylpedia, which completes that product.
Finally, I do feel that their is a chance that Anderson will probably end up back in WWE but, once again, I don't really mind as long as I'm able to follow his career.

| Obviously I'm a huge fan of Ken's, so I hope what you guys say about him being rehired will be true. I also think that WWE made a huge mistake getting rid of him, even if he hadn't had the best few months prior to his release. When Ken first arrived, pretty much everyone knew how much potential he had.. and then it just went down hill. Hopefully, if he does come back, he'll get a fresh start. If not, and he goes to TNA.. well, I'll most likely be watching his progress there too. | |

The funny thing about Savage's issues with Vince is that when you think about it, Savage did absolutely nothing wrong. Vince's pissed because a wrestler (in this case, Ransy Savage) made him lose money while Vince thought that Savage would get screwed. It's not Savage's fault if Slim Jim decided to stick with Savage as their spokesperson rather than going with Ultimate Warrior like Vince was expecting Slim Jim to do. In the end, Vince has very little reason other than his enormous ego to keep grudges with Randy Savage. So that's why I'm glad that they got past that and released the Macho Madness DVD.
