After his arrest this morning, the current charges facing Kurt Angle include: driving while operating privilege is suspended, prohibited acts-possession, harassment and prohibited acts. Even if he gets cleared on everything else, driving on a license suspended as a result of DUI in the state of Pennsylvania is a 60 day mandatory prison term. (Ryan Clark)

- TNA creative are apparently working on plans should Angle not appear tomorrow night.

It seems that Angle will have to do at least 60 days in jail. Will TBA supsend Angle? How can they not?

Pro wrestler Kurt Angle is free on bond following his arrest today on charges that he violated a protection of abuse order obtained by his girlfriend earlier in the morning.

Mr. Angle, 40, of Moon, was arrested by township police around 7:50 a.m. in the parking lot of a Giant Eagle Supermarket where his girlfriend, Trenesh Biggers, had taken refuge, according to a police affidavit that supports his arrest.

She told police Mr. Angle, who already had abused her physically, had been stalking her from outside a Starbucks where she was using a computer to send e-mails.

She said she was afraid to use her home computer because Mr. Angle lives there, the affidavit said.

She called police after she again saw him circling the supermarket parking lot.

In addition to the PFA violation, Mr. Angle also was arraigned on charges of harassment, possession of the human growth hormone Hygetropin, and possession of a syringe to use the controlled substance, police said.

Mr. Angle told police the drug is prescribed to him legally, the affidavit said.

Police ordered his car, a Cadillac, to be towed from the scene because Mr. Angle's license is suspended in connection with a previous drunken driving arrest.

After police were dispatched this morning, an officer pulled over his car on Park Manor and Robinson Town Center Drive.

During the traffic stop, Mr. Angle told police he and Ms. Biggers had an altercation last night. He said Moon police removed him from his residence.

He denied stalking Ms. Biggers, claiming he was looking for a hotel in which to stay since he was barred from his home.

Ms. Biggers reported to police that Mr. Angle had taken possession of her Blackberry cell phone, and that she feared he was erasing text messages and photos that showed injuries she suffered during their altercation.

Police recovered the cell phone and returned it to her.

As I understand it, he is going to jail for at least 60 days because he was driving on a suspended license froma previous DUI. It is a good thing the WWE let him go when they did because he has fallen apart in the last 3 years. TNA has to do something as far as suspensions go and they have to take the title off of him I think.
I would like to know what a big TNA fan thinks of this.

That TNA fan would say that this is just a big conspiracy from Vince McMahon to make TNA look bad by tarnishing the TNA World Heavyweight Champion's reputation.

Seriously, I'm hoping Angle will drop the belt at Hard Justice. If not, that's one helluva message you're sending to your locker room, eh?

If this type of thing happened to even a mid-card no body in the WWE, TNA fans would be all over it. Instead, you are the first one to coment on it. It seems that our resident TNAguy is going to ignore it, act like it didn't happen, and talk about how evil Vince McMahon is.

Probably. I haven't really seen him comment on it thus far.

According to The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Kurt Angle's hearing, which was originally scheduled for tomorrow, has been rescheduled for September 15th. The hearing will take place before District Judge Carla Swearingen in Robinson. Angle is currently free on 10 percent of a $10,000 bond.

The date of the hearing was changed due to Angle's TNA schedule.

Well, not that I like seeing him apart but I think it's a good thing for TNA. At least now he won't be shoved down people throat and TNA will have to use some of its other talent (YAY!!)

He will be for a couple more months anyway, he could be in the joint by the time No Surrender rolls around.
