Hey guys,
4 years ago, Scott Levy better known as Raven achieved his goal in TNA by winning the prestegious NWA World Heavyweight Championship @ the age of 40 making him the 3rd man in the history of Professional Wrestling to hold the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship
Now, on Father's Day 2005 @ the very 1st Slammiversary just 1 week after ECW One Night Stand and 1 week before RAW's WWE Vengeance 2005, AJ Styles was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion for the 3rd time when he def. The King of the Mountain Jeff Jarrett once again, but in the 2nd ever King of the Mountain Match, Styles went on to defend the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Monty Brown, Abyss, "X-Pac" Sean Waltman and Raven (who replaced Jeff Jarrett after being arrested in the arena for assualting a fan)
and on that night, Raven won the 2nd King of the Mountain Match and he became the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and even X-Pac cost Styles the title
Raven would go on to defend the NWA World Heavyweight Championship during the Summer of 2005 in 2 Separate PPV's:
No Surrender in July of 2005 and UNBREAKABLE on September 11, 2005
@ No Surrender, he def. the Monster Abyss ina Dog Collar Match and @ UNBREAKABLE, he def. The War Machine Rhino in a Hardcore Match
and BTW, Rhino made his surprise appearance @ the very 1st No Surrender PPV
and also, @ the very 1st Sacrifice PPV in August of 2005, Raven teamed up with Sabu against Jeff Jarrett and Rhino
However, Raven would lose the NWA World Heavyweight Championship to The King of the Mountain Jeff Jarrett in Canada thanks to AMW and of all people Scott D'Amore The Owner of Border City Wrestling
and so, I would like to know:
What were your thoughts on Raven as the NWA World Heavyweight Champion?
Please share your thoughts on this.
and now, here are some TNA PPV Matches Featuring Raven from the Summer of 2005
Check'em out:
A.J. Styles vs. Monty Brown vs. Abyss vs. Raven vs. Sean Waltman from Slammiversary 2005
Raven vs. Abyss From No Surrender July 2005 Dog Collar Match

I liked Raven in TNA, he didn't really get a fair shot to do what he could do in the WWE.

Raven never held a World Title in the WWE or WCW, but he did hold 3 titles in WCW:
World Light-Heavyweight Title, U.S. Heavyweight Title and the World Tag Team Titles and Raven only held the Hardcore Title in the WWE 27 times
Raven ruled TNA in the Summer of 2005 and that was when iMPACT! was seen on tnawrestling.com b/c TNA didn't want to renew their contract with FSN and when they signed w/SPIKE TV and its parent company Viacom International, they had to wait until October for iMPACT! to air, but Raven wasn't NWA World Heavyweight Champion during the time they moved to SPIKE, it was Jeff Jarrett who took the title from Raven in Canada.
and also, when Raven left the WWE around 2003, he came to TNA and challenged Jeff Jarrett and AJ Styles for the NWA World Heavyweight Title during the Asylum Days.
