Monday night RAW begins with a video package showing us the carnage caused by NXT Season one rookies last week. The attack was toward the end of RAW's three-hour show and tonight we come into the arena to see Wade Barrett getting boo'd in the ring. Barrett introduces himself and says that the RAW General Manager asked him to publicly appologise here tonight. Barrett asks the rest of the NXT rookies to join him and they all come through the crowd to stand in line with Barrett in the ring. As that happens Jerry Lawler stands up from commentary and takes off his headset. He and Michael Cole as well as the rest of the ringside crew leave. Wade Barrett then puts the microphone to each of the rookies (minus Daniel Bryan) and asks them all to appologise. None of them do and Wade Barrett goes on to say that the rookies were mistreated by WWE management and if they had the chance to do what they did again, they would do it. Bret Hart's music hits and the General Manager comes out to a great reception from the crowd. Wade tells Bret that the rookies are so bad that they got rid of one of their own. Daniel Bryan showed some remorse, so the NXT rookies showed him the exit door! Bret tells Barrett and the fans that after what they did to John Cena, Cena will still be at Fatal-Four Way defending the WWE Title this Sunday. Barrett says that their beef isn't with John Cena or anyone at ringside; their beef is with WWE management. He then reminds Bret that Vince McMahon said Bret would have some tough decisions to make, but this one's easy: sign the rest of the WWE rookies "or else!" Barrett says that he has a WWE contract, but the rest of the rookies are demanding WWE contracts of their own. David Otunga then goes through a few of the rookies' demands and he says that if WWE management don't comply with all of them then the NXT rookies will continue making life very uncomfortable for anyone in the WWE. Bret Hart says "no" to contracts and instead fires Wade Barrett!

R-Truth vs. John Morrison vs. Zack Ryder vs. The Miz

United States Title match!

No idea this was happening, but what a way to start Monday night RAW; a fatal-four way match for the coveted United States Championship! The match begins franticly as you'd expect with all four guys going at it. Quite quickly Ryder and Miz are thrown to the outside, so friends Truth and Morrison go head to head. Truth gets an early near fall on Morrison, but Ryder breaks it up. Ryder goes after Truth and Miz who are both then on the outside. Morrison focusses on Miz and they tustle on the apron and Morrison pulls off an amazing move on Miz, a sunset flip into a powerbomb from the apron right onto Zack Ryder! The match is all over the shop during the commercial break and when we return we have all four competitor's going all out to win the U.S. Title. R-Truth does the scissor kick on Zack Ryder and a near fall as Miz breaks the count. The fans are very much in R-Truth's corner as we are live in Charlotte, North Carolina! The match goes back and forth and forth and back and then forth again and Morrison has R-Truth down by the turnbuckles. Morrison hesitates as he looks down at his friend, but he goes up and *BOOM* Star-Ship Pain! One, Two - but Miz breaks it up by throwing Morrison out the ring and he covers R-Truth!

Winner and New United States Champion: The Miz!

The Miz celebrates as Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler tell us that later tonight we will see The Viper Randy Orton versus The Celtic Warrior Sheamus.

Josh Mathews is in Orton's locker room and asks of Randy's condition going into his match with Sheamus tonight. Orton says "you'll see tonight" how his shoulder is. Mathews then asks of Orton's opinion of the NXT situation and Orton says that them getting fired was better for them than sticking around or else they may have had their heads kicked in.

We see a video package highlighting the Big Show's appearance in the hit show Royal Pains. This Thursday 10/9c only on USA.

We then see Mark Feuerstein talking to the Bella Twins. Feuerstein plugs the show for this Thursday and tells the Bella's that they would be great on Royal Pains. Ted DiBiase comes into shot with Virgil and asks to be named co-guest host for tonight's show. Feuerstein says no as Big Show comes into shot. After some comedy, a match is made for tonight's main event; Big Show and Mark Feuerstein vs. Ted DiBiase and Virgil.

We see John Cena walking along backstage and the commentary team question what Cena's response is to the NXT beat-down he recieved last week.

Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne

Jericho begins very much on top as he wrestles Bourne to the mat getting a very early near fall. Jericho is out to prove a point after losing virtually all three match-types to Big Show last week. Bourne tries using his speed to get back into the match and after a series of back fourth action Bourne gets a near fall. This ignites Jericho though and he hits the CodeBreaker on Evan Bourne! Jericho goes for the cover and Bourne kicks out! Jericho is pissed and kicks at Bourne while he's by the bottom rope. The referee pulls him off but Jericho continues and the ref has no choice but to disqualify Chris Jericho.

Winner via DQ: Evan Bourne.

After the match Jericho continues going at Bourne, but Bourne manages to get some momentum and he gets up to swat Jericho to the mat. Evan then goes to the top turnbuckle and hits a picture perfect Air Bourne!

Confirmed; after the break John Cena is scheduled out to address what happened last week.

John Cena gets a pretty good response as he makes his entrance. Cena begins by saying thank you to Bret Hart for putting The Champs best interest at heart. He also thanks Bret for not caving into their demands here tonight. Cena though then says that to some extent he admires what they did, these radicals. But what problems they had with WWE management, they took out on the WWE Universe! Now the rookies have made five million new enemies including everyone in the RAW locker room! Cena then vows that after Fatal-Four Way he will call out the NXT guys and demand that they finish this. With that we see the NXT guys come through the crowd, but also see the WWE locker run down the ramp and into the ring! It started off with R-Truth, William Regal and The King from commentary and then everyone from Santino to Edge came down and got themselves some of the rookies! A brawl ensues and we see that even Randy Orton and Sheamus are involved beating the holy hell out of the rookies. After some time the NXT rookies retreat back though the crowd and we end the segment with some of the WWE roster chasing the rookies out of the arena.

Backstage Josh Mathews catches up with Sheamus and asks why he just helped John Cena. Sheamus says that he wasn't going to have the NXT guys ruin his match at Fatal-Four Way and if anyone is going to take out John Cena then it's going to be him.

Eve & Gail Kim vs. Alicia Fox & Maryse

The commentary team tell of how these women will all meet this Sunday for a Fatal-Four Way match at the pay-per-view. Maryse does well to kick Eve down and get an early near fall. She and Alicia Fox tag multiple times, but after a double team goes wrong Alicia accidently decks Maryse with a kick to the mush. Eve grabs Fox and performs her swinging neckbreaker signature to get the One, Two, Three.

Winners: Eve and Gail Kim.

A huge announcement! A new main event for tonight's RAW; John Cena and Randy Orton versus Sheamus and Edge!

Big Show & Mark Feuerstein vs. Ted DiBiase & Virgil

Before the match begins Big Show gets on the mic and introduces his "best friend" Mark Feuerstein. DiBiase and Virgil make their entrance. As the match goes on and Big Show dominates Ted DiBiase. Ted takes some punishment and quickly tags Virgil. Virgil gets slapped about and tormented as Big Show puts him hin the corner and says "Shhh" before slapping Virgil down. Show follows up with a chokeslam and then a tag to Feuerstein who comes in to do a modified "Worm" into an elbow and the Royal Pains tag team get the win.

Winners: Royal Pains

Ted shakes his head in disappointment as he stuffs a bill in the mouth of a motionless Virgil. Ted then takes the money back and exits with the Million Dollar Title.

William Regal vs. Santino Marella

Special Guest referee match. Referee is: Vladimir Kozlov.

Santino's karate tactics don't work as Regal thumps him to the mat early on. Regal grounds Santino, but only for a moment as Santino scrambles Regal into a roll-up. He has the tights! One, Two, Three!

Winner: Santino Marella!

After the match Bret Hart's music hits and the General Manager asks the RAW roster to get out there onto the stage. What happened last week isn't happening again and this is Bret's way of preventing an intrusion to the main event here tonight. The RAW superstars come out on stage and up next is the main event.

Edge & Sheamus vs. Randy Orton & John Cena

Early on Cena and Sheamus exchange a bit of a duel but Cena is on top and the match is slow. Cena tags Orton who is on top for a moment, but Sheamus quickly gets a tag to Edge who comes in to get the upper-hand on Orton. Orton though is very aware of Edge and almost locks on an RKO. Edge escapes to ringside as we go to a break.

Back in the ring we get back to some wild action as Cena and Edge go back and forth and Cena pulls off a modifed fisher-mans suplex and a near fall. Edge gets out of the ring to regroup and the ultimate opportunist does well to then whip-lash Cena off the top rope and get in the ring to go across and tag his partner Sheamus. Sheamus is in and he dominates Cena, weakening him up before tagging in Edge again. The WWE Universe will John Cena on by cahnting his name and Cena struggles for a tag, but can't make it as Edge tags in a fresh Sheamus who comes in to continue the demolishing of Cena. Sheamus then tustles with Cena to the outside and throws him to the barrier before getting him in to the ring and getting a near fall. Sheamus uses his strength to keep Cena grounded now as the commentary team remind everyone that all four of these guys will meet this Sunday. Amazingly Cena manages to stand while Sheamus has him wrapped up like a boa-constrictor. Cena almost gets the tag, but Sheamus' weight takes Cena back down. Sheamus tags Edge who does well, but not for long as Cena breaks free to finally make a tag! Randy Orton comes in and the WWE's apex predator comes in and cleans house! Orton hits the DDT from the middle rope on Sheamus and then RKO on Edge! Sheamus though follows up with a side axe-handle to the face of Randy Orton. The pace has slown down as the fans chant 'RKO.' Sheamus wears down Orton and gets a near fall. Edge then tags in and the former World Champion does well to kick and stomp on Orton and keep him grounded so that The Viper can't get a tag. The fans continuously chant 'RKO' and finally Orton gets some sort of momentum when he hits the clothesline on Edge. Orton makes the tag and here we go! Cena comes in like a house on fire and does the shoulder barges off the ropes before - wait a minute, the lights go out in the arena. We're backstage, the NXT guys have Bret Hart and they vandalise him before piling him into the back of a limo. The limo reverses frantically into a bunch of cars. One car, then another, then another and then it takes a big stretch to reverse at fast speed into the side of another car. Finally the NXT guys open the door to pull out the body of Hart and Wade Barrett says that the NXT guys want their contracts and they want an answer by Sunday. We end the show with the NXT guys fleeing and Bret Hart left in a heap by the limo.

After last weeks great ending to Raw, I wondered if they could keep the momentum and keep the Invasion angle going and they did. Raw was pretty great from start to finish. The US Champ Fatal 4 Way was fantastic, the WWE/NXT confrontation was pretty awesome and the tag team main event was really good. The only downside to Raw this week was Show/Guest vs; TDB and Virgil. The way this weeks Raw ended was more shocking then last weeks and let the speculation begin on who was driving the limo.
