TUF 12 Quaterfinal fights 1 and 2

Fight 1 Savko (Team Koscheck) vs. Brookins (Team GSP)

Brookins hit a bad ass throw and quickly took Savko's back. Brookins stayed calmed, worked in both hooks, then secured the Rear Naked Choke. Brookins went through Savko like he was nothin and he looked bad ass doing it. Brookins is my pick to win TUF 12

Fight #2 Phan (Team Koscheck) vs. McKenzie (Team GSP)

In RD 1, McKenzie controled the pace of the fight, kept Phan against the cage, and even scored a TKD. Late in RD1 Phan was able to open up his striking and he clearly out matched McKenzie with his striking. I had RD 1 10/9 McKenzie

When RD 2 starts, McKenzie was gassed and he was not able to get Phan against the cage. The fight then turned into a striking battle and Phan's striking was far better. At about the 2:30 mark, Phan really starts to let loose with his hands and kicks. He rocked McKenzie a couple of times and then he hit him with a brutal body shot. McKenzie crumbled after the body shot and Phan pounded him out. Phan won via TKO.

Haven't watched it yet, but yay for asian power! If he was on Team GSP, I would've picked him to win it all.

Dudes striking was outstanding. What is that Brookins guy anyway? Asian, Black, White, what's going on there? Whatever his race, he is pure bad ass.
