Bischoff wants JR in TNA

- Eric Bischoff is still intent on bringing Jim Ross into TNA as an announcer. After many months of speculation as to what he’d do when his WWE contract expired, Ross signed a short-term extension back in December and is expected to be with WWE through mid-2010. That said, the face of the pro wrestling industry is sure to change this year, with TNA likely going to Monday nights at some point, so who knows what the future holds.

This won't happen because 1. WWE pays JR over 2 million a year in base salary alone, and 2. JR has a personal dislike for Bischoff.

Anyway, I doubt it will happen but JR has been known to be tired of WWE in the last 4 years or so ... So yeah

JR could very well retire from wrestling, but I think there is very little chance he would go to TNA. I think that WWE will give him a contract, even if he no longer calls matches. WWE has tried to get rid of JR a number of times, only to figure out that he is the best in the world at what he does. 5 years ago, it was not as big of a deal because there was no other promotion that could even consider hiring JR. Now TNA would have the slight chance of getting him. Let me really stress the slight part. WWE does not want to lose JR and they will pay him so much more then TNA can even offer, I garuantee that. IF JR turned up in TNA, I would eat his hat. Where do you get that he is tired of WWE? I read every JR blog, his personal blog from his personal website, and he has said on a number of occation that he will not work for any other wrestling promotion. WWE will be JR last stop.
