Update on Tommy Dreamer's WWE No-Compete Status

While there were several reports claiming that Tommy Dreamer was eligible to make his TNA debut this past Monday night, PWInsider.com is reporting that Dreamer's no-compete clause with WWE does not expire until next week.

I do not want Dreamer to go to TNA...he's a great talent and has a lot to offer still but TNA isn't the place to go. He'd easily be lost in the shuffle there and fired before long, the only thing I could see him doing there is join the ECW stable that's rumored to come up.

No other place for him to really go at his age. TNA might as well pick him up. They have all the other old timers.

Dreamer could bring a lot backstage and have a small part on TV for a while. TNA is all about getting former WWE/WCW/ECW guys in there, so I think it is a lock that Dreamer will show up in TNA very soon.

Dreamer and CZW Champion Jon Moxley had an awesome match at the last Dragon Gate USA PPV.

^^I am interested to know what you think of Dreamer doing an "extreme" angle with TNA. Being that you are a orginal ECW fan and a UV fan in general. Do you think it would tarnish their ECW legacy or would you be excited to see it?
