Batisita Furious After Being Replaced by Triple H in Upcoming Movie

Below is the official PR for WWE's new film Killing Karma. It should be noted that Batista was publicly announced to play the lead role of "AJ" but was replaced with Triple H. Batista was said to be furious with this decision as he intends to move over into movies. There is a heavy speculation that Batista will finish up with WWE when his contract expires in several months.


WWE Studios' Killing Karma

STAMFORD, Conn., April 19, 2010– WWE Studios announced today that actors Michael Rapaport (“Prison Break”), Parker Posey (“Highland Park”), Julie White (“Transformers 2”), Michael Cudlitz (“Southland”) and Bruce Dern (“The Big Valley”) have joined WWE Superstar Triple H (“Blade: Trinity”) in the cast of the studios’ upcoming suspense drama, “Killing Karma.” Principal photography has begun in and around New Orleans, Louisiana.

Artie Mandelberg (“Saving Grace”) is directing from a screenplay by novelist Dylan Schaffer (Misdemeanor Man). “Killing Karma” is produced by WWE Studios Executive Vice President Michael Pavone and executive produced by Lori Lewis.

That is what happens when you start talking about leaving WWE. Why would WWE want to put someone in a movie, if they are planing to leave the company?

That's a great point about Batista already coming out saying he wants to leave to pursue a career as an actor after his contract expires.

I really don't think WWE films are really going to make Batista big or anything, so I don't think he should be THAT pissed, but I guess he just wanted some experience under his belt.

^^This movie probably would not break him into acting, nor will it do that for HHH. HHH has already done a main stream flim anyhow. Batista was in an Indy movie, starring RVD, that came out in Feb. I watched it and he is not a very good actor, so, maybe they took him off of the part because he is not a good actor.
