Triple H Will Work Upcoming Fan Appreciation Event

- WWE has announced that Triple H will return for "one night only" at the Fan Appreciation and Supershow event on October 30th in Hartford, Connecticut. The updated listing for the event doesn't specify if The Game will be wrestling or just appearing.

Matches announced for the event include Kane vs. Big Show vs. Undertaker for the World Title, Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett for the WWE Title, Rey Mysterio vs. Alberto Del Rio and a 16-man battle royal with the winner facing Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title.

I am sure that he will not be wrestling. I don't know if he is able to yet and even if he is, I seriously doubt they would use that as his return. If it were a "one time thing" that would also undermind what Sheamus did and what he has been bragging about since May.

No, I don't think he'll be wrestling. I don't like how they're using the "one night only" term though. It's almost as they were saying that Triple H might not even return on a full-time basis...

I am sure that they are going that route so that this doesn't undo the legend of Sheamus. How can he keep bragging about ending a guy's career if that guy is going to show up at signing all the time? I am confident HHH will be back and be close to full time. It has been a few years since he has had this much time away and I am sure he wants to get back in there. I would not be surprised if they build in a couple of months of time off for him though. He is getting older and the injuries are mounting. Also, this could be a good way to sell Sheamus. When people ask HHH if and when he is coming back, he will probably act uncertian if he ever will come back. That will keep Sheamus pumped up and build some suspense for HHH's return. The orginal report was that he would be back in Dec and I am really hoping it is Dec 6, in Louisville KY. I am going to the Raw and I will lose my mind if HHH makes his return there. The logical place to return would be in the RR. I would like to see them keep his return a secret, like they did with Cena in 08.

Well, they've been able to keep those a secret as of late so I think WWE can pull this off quite easily.

I spend hours trolling the net for WWE news, but being surprised on about a big return is so much more fun for me.
