WWE Talking with Nickelodeon, Possible New TV Shows

WWE COO Donna Goldsmith said on Monday at the JP Morgan Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference that WWE is talking with Nickelodeon about bringing an animated TV series to the network.

Goldsmith also said she recently talked with Vince McMahon about how WWE has walked away from their older audience in recent years and talked about new ideas to get that audience back.

Goldsmith said McMahon suggested a nostalgia or Legends program.

This probably means that the PG thing is here to stay. If they are sticking with the PG thing, it only makes sense for them to reach out to all possible markets.

They can still target the PG audience, without leaving the rest of its audience completely out in the cold. I think WWE really lacks their edgier side right now because there are so many limitations that come with the PG rating. The Hell in a Cell matches and other gimmick matches are truly suffering because of this. They've just become a random tool or prop to use to further a feud and they can't even use it properly because they can't bleed.

^^ I agree that the gimmick matches have suffered due to the PG thing. Espically the HIAC and Chamber matches.
