TNA is really struggling right now. I know if you saw my post about its rating that some of you are thinking that they're not doing bad the ratings are almost identical to last week which shows consistency. But the reality is that the ratings last week weren't good either. And to top things off the object is to go up not remain even (it was really down but a mute point).

The problem is that TNA creative team is running out of ideas with such a small roster and adding more talent isn't going to happen unless they can add someone with star power. People are thinking Kenny Dykstra (Dionne). But he doesn't have a strong fan base. I can't but think they dropped the ball on letting Super Krazy go back to Mexico. Losing Christian Cage, if that happens, will be a major blow. MEM as Hulk Hogan said "is at the point that NWO was at when it was heading downward". Shamefully, I was right about Eric Young. He just doesn't have that it. To make his X-division run look good. I would of chosen Jay Lethal over him but its clear that they have bigger plans for Lethal.

I mean what were they thinking having Bubba Ray and Kurt Angle as a main event? Are they stupid or just plain dumb? The KnockOut divison did real well boasting the highest rating at 1.28. I'm sure it's mostly because of Soujouner Bolt. She's hot. Christy Hemme is hot too. I can't but wonder if Vince was right to turn it into a Diva divison. This reminds me of when TNA first surfaced and it was being said that TNA stood for Tits N Ass. I remember every single wrestler had a beautiful women escort. But I digress as I normally do when women come into the picture.

But back to the point. The commentary on the show is whack. The best stars are past thier prime (Samoa Joe & AJ Styles excluded) and their creative team who seemed like geniouses before seem to be completely lost as to what to do next.

My advice is do a joint promotion with WWE like ECW and WCW did in the earlier 80's (for WCW) and 90's for (ECW) I'm sure Vince would love the idea of having AJ Styles and Samoa Joe go against some of his talent. Maybe we can see Lethal and Benjamin. Styles and Orton. Joe and Umaga. (Of course Vince wont let Cena fight Joe or Styles)

A Jeff Jarrett comeback might bring attention but if he doesn't look good it will hurt more than it helps.

Trust me I know what I'm talking about!

Nice write up.

TNA haven't progressed much as a company (viewing wise) since Angle has arrived. No matter how good the spectacle is people either dont know or dont want to know about TNA Wrestling. This is down to TNA not getting much limelight due to poor promtion on their part. They could do a lot more in this world run by the media. The internet, get some ads up, more TV advertising and promote it in papers etc.

I think the creative team know that the MEM are at a weak point but theres still time left there to get the Frontline over and so far i think that they are succeeding just about. The thing is that TNA dont have the drawing power unless you want to have a light schedule or are a rising star which is a problem as it means nobodies and has beens will be the only ones joining.

Like you said the only way to succeed would be to join forces with WWE, something i havent thought of before. Theres no way that TNA would agree to it unless they were on the brink of going out of buisness though and by then it would be too late.

(Do you mind if i post this on another forum as its a good article? Ill give you credit and whatever.)

Sure post it everywhere just make sure you mention BEAST capitalized even if you say you wrote it. My plan is to write on every show every week so stay tuned. And I didn't mean join WWE I meant do a few joint ventures. WCW did this. I remember a Hogan / Flair match in the 80's. Hogan won but Flair wasn't the Heavyweight champion at the time. I have the video I'll dig it up and tell you what it's called. Also WWE mixed some of their matches with ECW in like 1999 or 2000 before ECW colapsed in 2001. This was before any mergers of course.
What site, I'm probably on that one 2. Send me a pm or something with the site address or post it here for me.
