Elijah Burke Ribs Kofi Kingston

Former WWE Superstar Elijah Burke shot at WWE’s Kofi Kingston on Twitter this morning. Burke didn’t seem to be to happy with Kingston’s Jamaican accent, “Well Kofi, at least Seth Green did his homework; His c-list acting was more believable than your "Jafacian Accent" on commentary! ~ PHS”

Lets see, Kingston has been a World Tag Champion, IC Champion, and current US Champion. Burke was....he won that....he kicked ass in that....he Silvester Turkey's manager/tag partner. Who cares what he says about anyone.

I do, I've always judge wrestlers by their talent in ring and on the mic more then how they were used, and Burke's a great talent and main event potiental that WWE dropped the ball on, I care about what he says. Anyways, Kingston has never been great on the mic but, he is great in the ring so I don't really mind.

I disagree, I don't think that the WWE is missing anything from Burke. Bisedes, who says that his accent is fake.

^I never said his accent was fake, I said his mic skill aren't great. I think their poor actually and it's not because of his accent. Burke was talented in the ring and on the mic and was great in his role of leader of The New Breed. He definitly had potienal to go farther then WWE pushed him for.

Burke said that his accent was "Jafacian". How would he know where Kingston is from? I watched Burke for a long time in OVW and I was never really diggin him at all.

Well, he is said to be from Jamaca but, their have been some reports that he is from Afracia (I think a family member of his said he wasn't from Jamaca but from Afracia), so he probably got it from that. I've never seen Burke in OVW but, his work in WWECW was good if you ask me.

Think that if he really had anything special to offer, TNA would have gotten him right away. TNA will take anyone that has been in the WWE.

Kofi is from Ghanian heritage (a country in Africa), he is not Jamacian.

As for Elijah Burke, I think he's a real talented guy too. Just because he hasn't been picked up by TNA doesn't mean he isn't. TNA released Petey Williams, a brilliant worker. They passed up Paul London. Neither TNA or WWE have signed Steve Corino to a long-term contract despite his ability. There are plenty of wrestlers who just never got the chance to make it big despite having the talent. Look at how Raven got wasted in every promotion other than ECW.
