Elijah Burke's new TNA character

"I wonder who in the Black Pope that could be," Burke wrote. "My team of highly paid lawyers are looking into this ASAP. PHS: Pope has spoken."

This might just make me start watching TNA every week. I will be very interested to see how he handles a full Black Pope gimmick.

This sounds like one more segment I will not want to see and turn the channel. Last nights Impact was just terrible and a Pope gimmick will be another terrible TNA idea.

Technically it isn't a TNA idea. Burke has been acting like that gimmick online since he was in WWE. And calls himself Pope a lot as it can be seen above. I actually think it might not be all that bad. I don't watch TNA though so I'll just have to take my opinions from someone else.

That'll make me want to watch this. I always liked Burke, so I'd like to see how he does in TNA.
