Another 3-Hour Impact in March

After TNA Monday night special on January 4th drew a strong 1.5 cable rating, it appears Spike TV has scheduled another live TNA broadcast to go head-to-head with WWE RAW.

According to news correspondent Devin Cutting, Spike TV has scheduled a second Monday night TNA Impact episode on March 1 from 9-11p.m. EST head-to-head with WWE Raw.

No official announcement has been made yet from either Spike TV or TNA Wrestling. There is also no word on whether the show will be live or taped.

It's worth noting that comedy duo Cheech & Chong are scheduled to host WWE RAW that night.

If Cheech and Chong suck, they might lose viewers. Maybe WWE will get a better host for that night. I think Cheech and Chong are going to suck as guest host.

I think this is a wise idea. They went up against Bret Hart and still drawed strong ratings, Now they are going up against Cheech & Chong. I see a stronger rating IF they promote the show well and showcase the talent properly and do not spend 2 hours and 30 minutes on Hogan/Bischoff Vs Foley/Jarrett segments.

The main thing is the word "if" because they have done a lot of that in recent weeks. It will interesting to see if WWE changes their plans and gets a better guest host.

Let's hope the booking will be better for this 3-hour Impact than it was for the first one. Surprises are fun but this was overload.
