Dana White Denies Nogueira vs. Rampage Fight

UFC President, Dana White has denied that reports that a fight between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and former Light Heavyweight champion, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson would be going down later this year, adding nothing has been decided yet.

Speaking at the UFC 116 pre-fight press conference, Dana said:

“It’s not true, we don’t have anything set up yet. With that division right now, Little Nog could fight Rampage, Rampage could fight Machida. There’s a lot of fights we could make and we haven’t made any decisions on that fight. We’re looking at all of them. Time-wise, Rampage is still promoting the [A-Team] movie overseas, so we’re trying to figure out what the next fight will be.”

Pretty much 4 fighters are in the mix. Nog, Rampage, Machida, Forrest. When one match is set, I'd say the 2 remaining fighters will square up.

So which fighters would you match up?

With Forrest being the weakest link of the bunch, I'd have to put him up against Rampage in a rematch. That leaves Nog and Machida. Where this gets a little iffy is if Machida beats Nog, that kind of moves him into the #1 contenders spot in my mind and much like Mir/Lesnar, I don't want to see their 3rd fight yet. I think this should end up being a mini-4 man tourny. So winner of Machida/Nog faces winner of Rampage/Forrest. Then depending on who the losers are, either face them off or if one of the losers is not Nog, give one of them Brillz.
